Kick & Twitch channel checker
Type a channel name. See whether it is live right now, how many are watching this second, and how many follow it. Works for any public channel on either platform.
What it reads
The live flag, the concurrent viewer count and the follower count — the three public numbers that describe a channel's state at this moment. Both platforms expose them for any public channel, and the tool reads them fresh on each check (with a short cache so repeated checks do not hammer the platform).
Viewers per hundred followers
The most useful number on the page is the one neither platform shows you: current viewers as a share of followers. It tells you how much of a channel's following actually turns up. Small channels commonly see 5–15% of followers watching a given stream; large ones 1–3%. A channel with 20,000 followers and 40 viewers has a following that has drifted; a channel with 300 followers and 30 viewers has a room that is real. Concurrent viewers, not followers, are what both directories sort by — which is why the second channel is easier to find than the first.
The directory tier
Twitch and Kick both list channels within a category by concurrent viewers, highest first. The estimated tier here is a rough placement of the current viewer count: single digits sit off the bottom of most categories, low tens reach the middle of small categories, hundreds are front-page in all but the largest. The rank estimator does the placement properly for a chosen category.
Checking your own channel while live
Open this on your phone while you stream and refresh it. It is the fastest way to see the viewer count the directory is using to place you, without alt-tabbing out of the broadcast — and if you are running a held-viewer session, it is where you watch the count ramp in.

Why is the follower count blank for a Kick channel?
Kick's official API does not always return followers. When it does not, the tool shows the live status and viewers and leaves followers as unknown rather than guessing.
How fresh is the viewer count?
Within a few minutes. Results are cached briefly so repeated checks of the same channel do not hit the platform every second.
Can it check a banned or deleted channel?
No — it will report that no channel exists under that name.
Does it show what the channel is streaming?
Not currently. Live status, viewers and followers only.
Is there a limit on lookups?
A fair-use limit per connection to protect the platforms' APIs. Normal use will never hit it.
